However, an appealing Social Media is only relevant if you have an active social media. In this blog I will be mediating to you ways in which you can use social media to increase your website traffic.

Firstly, you will need to actually reach out to your audience. This for example, if we are discussing in terms of your Twitter, you could follow them, send them a direct message or add them to the list, likewise, with Facebook you could like their post or send them a message. Reach is an important method to driving an audience into your website, most people will skip over this step and tend to sit back and wait for their audience to find them.

Secondly, in order to actually find your audience you will need to recycle posts. For example, if you write up a blog post that will go onto your website you will need to post in onto your social media, but in order for users to see this post you will have to post it up to your social media account several times. Why? You will need to recycle posts because the average user only spends a few minutes a day on each social media platform, so it is therefore likely that they have not seen a post you posted the first time, uncles it is a case of good timing. So what you need to do it to recycle your content.

There are thousands if not millions of people who are actively posting, or tweeting about wanting your product or service. For instance, one user could post a message on their social media that they are thinking of changing their kitchen. You could then interact with this post by liking it or sending them a direct message. This in turn may entice them to go onto your kitchen based website as they are looking for kitchen ideas and thus in turn get them to be possibly interested in a product based on your website. This is an easy method to reaching out to your audience.
